HTML Developer

Primary Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of all of the following web markup or scripting languages: (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Extensive experience coding with non-WYSIWYG editors.
• Experience with developing template-driven sites, ideally using Perl templating tools, such as Template::Toolkit, HTML::Template, or HTML::Mason.
• Extensive experience cutting up and optimizing images with Photoshop and/or other image editing programs.
• Ability to learn new Internet and authoring technologies relevant for web site development and advanced system integration.
• Ability to clearly document all projects, manage bug reports using Bugzilla (or similar bug tracking environment).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff.
• Attention to detail and high level of consistency.

Job Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience working with online projects and HTML development.
